Just draw! You will see that you cannot realize your ideas like that because: walls take up space... or do you want rooms where you can't turn around??? Why doesn't it make sense to you? [Treppe] has also already been mentioned...

With all due respect, I agree with ypg. It really should be drawn to scale, using graph paper. The interior doors are only small catches compared to the front door, and if the dining area is about 3 meters wide, about 3.5 meters remain for the living room. The furniture in this form would not have nearly that much space. Such an open floor plan is a matter of taste, but at least a windbreak door is practical so that the whole house doesn’t get cold immediately in winter when someone enters. The staircase is not like that.... As a very rough sketch it’s okay, but nothing more.

Hello,

It’s less about whether you want to convince someone. Rather, it’s about the fact that one - in this case once again me - has to be the scapegoat. I have attached a ground floor plan measuring 8.00 m x 10.50 m; from this you can already see that your ideas at the entrance do not work. Even here the utility room is actually too small - I know what is all housed in there nowadays; it was really a matter of centimeters. And this semi-detached house is planned for 2 people; no more will join :-)
If you want to implement your desired floor plan, you have to go at least to 11.00 m width.

Somewhere the weight of the attic has to be supported; this is quite difficult if there is no wall on the ground floor. Therefore, a beam - visible or invisible - must be installed to support the load of the attic. The structural engineer will surely tell you that :-)

Rhenish greetings

It’s not the number of interior walls, but the thickness of the interior walls. You planned the pantry to be 1 * 2 m. However, you have to subtract at least 30 cm (2 * 15 cm) on each side. Then you don’t have 2 sqm of pantry anymore, but only 1.19 sqm! That is a huge difference and won’t work like that.

Also, just drawing it 50 cm bigger because it “approximately” fits is not acceptable. The rooms become narrower because of the walls. It’s just like that.

Once for the person who draws a floor plan without background knowledge (statics) and basics:

40cm exterior wall
60cm kitchen unit
120cm workspace
100cm depth counter corner
120cm passage
15cm wall
100cm room (wardrobe, pantry)
15cm wall
160cm hallway
15cm wall
130cm WC
15cm wall
150cm width utility room niche
40cm exterior wall

= 10.80 meters width for the house front

.. just as the building expert and Jaydee have already written...

@ Construction expert and ypg and others. strong. thanks. This sketch was rough, I had to start with something. But now, through your contributions, we are approaching the correct room/house sizes. That means we actually need to rethink the planning. possibly a side entrance...

We will "only" be able to build approximately 8x11 m, if I stick to the preferred rooms it will be tight, now it’s clear to me. Any ideas on how I can solve it differently?
