Yes, I think so too. The wood is still in good condition, not rotten or anything like that. It should still be fine for one more winter. My only concern was that moisture might be transferred if the wood itself no longer has weather protection. The windows are actually quite high quality, but a glass replacement together with wood restoration would hardly have been any cheaper in the end than simply getting completely new windows now, especially since the new windows visually fit better with what we plan to do on the facade otherwise.
