It wasn't said that it wouldn't work, but that it wasn't that good. I guess he wanted to point to worse heat conduction. You could lay the floor floating with the 8mm anyway, without needing anything underneath, right?

No, Hagebau, but good to know they also carry it. Then we'll get several quotes. I definitely don't want to pay 36.99 RRP when others here were around 30 € and it's even cheaper online

The flooring is available online for under €22/sqm [individuelles Angebot machen lassen] is definitely worth it here

Yes, the price differences are really big. We would really have to consider ordering online, even though I definitely prefer the local trade...

Until now I have always been pro tile and wanted the utility room, kitchen, hallway, and bathroom to be definitely tiled. But the look of Eiche Spirit Natur Schlossdiele fits perfectly with the already existing or planned furnishings, which we did not find so harmonious with the tiles. In addition, this comes with a considerable price saving compared to tiles, since we could do it ourselves. Hmm, I am really torn right now whether we should cover everything with Parador after all and only tile the bathroom. My girlfriend initially wanted to tile only the bathroom anyway...

The screed is coming next week, so we have to have decided by then.

Has anyone already had experience with underfloor heating in connection with Modular One? If so - what is it like?

Not only despite but also with it? Of course - no tiles purely physically, but does the laminate absorb some of the heat and release it somewhat evenly?
