The color of the venetian blinds is called "Graualuminium RAL 9007" at Roma. The window sills are the most ordinary old natural anodized standard ones – they are so cheap, they probably didn't even bother with a color number ;) At least I don't know of any.

If I had the money, I would have chosen aluminum-wood for the windows.... but for the window sills, I would always prefer granite (e.g. Steel Grey or Nero Ass.), possibly a roll layer with a clinker facade.

It will be wood-aluminum for me (that’s why I would also go for deep black; with plastic, one often reads about problems especially because of the heat), this was, for example, more important to me than KNX, where we are back to the topic of priorities and budget :).

Do you mean that with the windowsill on the outside? Inside we want to do it like that (at least a restless dark color), because we hope that, for example, dead flies will be less visible (interesting with an open space with high-set windows and windowsills, we thought --> annoying to clean). Outside I have to think about it, I hadn’t considered that yet... Thanks for the food for thought...

The thing with aluminum windowsills is no problem, I think if I say aluminum-colored, people will understand me ;).

If wood, then I would leave it natural on the inside, which in my opinion imposes new requirements again. The windows must then have concealed fittings, flush frames, etc., and the interior design must follow that direction:

One thing leads to another, and it is not just a matter of money but also of the time one wants to spend on it. I think it’s great when it succeeds as well as above. Replacing window material A with B is, in my view, too simplistic.

We were more pragmatic and wanted a practical house. And I find it better to keep the components as inconspicuous as possible. Playing something into the foreground without being able to see why quickly looks forced and not well done. At least that’s my – as always subjective – opinion

Wood is not our thing, personally there would be way too much wood for me in your picture (but those are just different tastes). However, I will think about your recommendation and let it take effect. So far, we only thought that a black window frame would go well with a white wall and also the reveal.

Edit: I meant window sills for the outside, inside I would use wood for wooden windows :)
