The comparison with the construction service description is always said like that, but in my opinion it is only partly true. Why? I am supposed to know what I want before comparing. For example, I want a single-story, brick-faced house without a special KfW level, but with an air-to-water heat pump and underfloor heating. The house should have around 120 sqm of living space. I value a walkable attic, so I want a bit more roof pitch and a studio truss roof. There should be a guest WC and a side entrance door. The space requirement is four rooms, kitchen, bathroom. That would now be my specification sheet. And I let myself be offered that, let's say, by master bricklayer Jens Jensen, turnkey construction Nord Hansen KYg, team massiv Büdelsdorf. Without this specification, I would be comparing apples with oranges. Possibly ETICS with monolithic with brick facade, timber frame truss with studio truss, etc. Then it will never be transparent. But I do have my specification sheet. So, I compare. Team is of course by far cheaper than others. But that was to be expected; I don’t just go with them. I read, they only allow tiles up to 20,- Euro, Hansen up to 30, Jensen says 25,- net, also nearly 30. Team has only 30 sockets, the others 45, etc. So I now have to ask for the additional costs, otherwise I won't get a fair comparison. Then I pay attention to details. Fiber-reinforced screed? What concrete quality in the base slab? Construction water, electricity, etc. included? Now a picture emerges that says something. Suddenly the price differences have shrunk. But possibly now other criteria besides price also count. Whose design is particularly clever? Who wants to start when? Who feels like what? Only then will a decision be made that lets me sleep well, even if in the end it is the one who asks for 7,200,- more than the cheapest. Karsten
