Which Cat cables should be installed on the facade? Problems with moisture?

Hello everyone,
as already "outed" in another thread, the internet connection in our house is relatively primitive, using Wi-Fi and repeaters. Now I have the following thought:
In the next few days, work will begin on the facade. It will get a new plaster. This would now be the opportunity to lay additional cables on the exterior wall. The plan is to install cables for additional lighting on the facade and at least 2 cables (3 x 2.5 mm2) for infrared heaters, which might be mounted under a terrace roof at some point. For this, corresponding grooves will be made in the existing facade, which will then be replastered.
Now the question: is it possible to lay Cat cables on the facade to provide internet to all floors from the cable? We would then drill a hole in the exterior wall where the "router" is located in the living room and run the cables over the facade into the respective rooms. I think some consideration regarding moisture is necessary? What kind of cables would be needed? Cat 5 should definitely be sufficient (?). How is it with possible moisture? Going over the exterior wall is, of course, not the most elegant solution, but certainly the easiest way.
Thank you :)

There are cables for outdoor use. I would take those.

Would a cable then be run from the router to a switch, and from the switch corresponding lines diverted and routed over the facade into the respective rooms?

Would it be an alternative to use the power line for the internet?
E.g. with an AVM FRITZ!Powerline 1260 Single-Adapter

Hi Schimi,

a good idea if there are no other alternatives :)

Just take a look at Cat6/7 underground cables. They are a bit more expensive but should be the best solution for the project.

For example.
Do you then want to install corresponding sockets in the rooms or just pull 1-2 cables to install additional access points?

No, forget that really quickly :)

We have finished the interior renovation. Laying cables now would be considerably more complicated.

Is the extra cost really worth it for the "normal user"? Or is it more of an investment in the (distant) future?

Well, ideally, four (double) sockets would need to be installed. Then relevant end devices could participate in global communication via cable. However, I would then have to go around the entire house on the facade.
Stupid(?) question: A switch doesn’t reduce bandwidth, does it?

That bad?
