I have just received an offer. Weinor roofing is ridiculously expensive.
Weinor Glasoase ® Terrazza L Originale - without glass - : 8200

    [*]Dimensions 560.00 cm x 350.00 cm
    [*]Covering: prepared for 10 mm
[*]Steel reinforcement gutter, 2 x galvanized flat steel

10 mm laminated safety glass for Terrazza: 2200 euros
Weinor conservatory awning TOP OptiStretch: 5500 euros
Assembly + base: 7000 euros

Total: (8200+2200+5500+7000)*1.19 = 27,251 euros

Have I received a fair offer?

You can find out at the earliest by requesting the exact positions from 1-2 other companies.

    [*]Is the color specified?
[*]Is the part without any lighting?
[*]Is the part without a vertical awning?
    [*]2 or 3 posts?
[*]What should the base be? Foundation?

But it really doesn't look like a bargain. (Unless it's not the "Daimler", but the "Maybach");)

Hi,

after comparing for a while, I understand the higher prices of the premium manufacturers a bit better. Whether that is justified or not everyone has to decide for themselves, but also consider a few things like

- Steel / aluminum has become very expensive in recent years
- The roof loads at the expensive manufacturers are usually somewhat higher
- visually nicer due to internal drainage and such
- different spans available

etc.

Due to a somewhat more demanding shape of the roofing, we deliberately chose a more expensive manufacturer. Parts were carried out by ourselves and of course there were problems. That was not bad, but the good thing was that the manufacturer himself came, took care of the matter and solved it and did so until we were completely satisfied (he really came to us often).

According to the website, I would interpret that the Glasoase is an uninsulated winter garden and Terazza is just a roof? Your statement contradicts itself there.

Otherwise, what also affects the price is whether you have 3.5m long glass roofs or with a central bar. You can't lift 3.5m anymore with just two people and therefore need more people and possibly different transport options.

Is the awning an on-roof or under-roof installation? Electrified/automated, etc.

We also had an offer from Weinor 4-5 years ago. Looking at the pictures, probably the Terazza plus with the overhang and the recessed gutter. We would have ended up at 6x4m with awning and vertical awning at 20k. That, of course, is hardly comparable with the current price increases. We then decided on a somewhat cheaper provider. I believe Weinor is already operating in the higher price segment.
