So, I have now also received an offer for a Weinor awning. What is interesting is that the Kubata, which is available up to a width of 6.5m, can also be mounted as a two-part awning. This would make it possible to have the fabric continuous across the total width of the house.
I need to ask again exactly how that looks. I imagine it like this: simply two cassettes are mounted, the inner sides are omitted, and the fabric is then stretched across the total width. But I don't know, I have to ask again.
As far as I understand, Weinor is also one of the top brands. Price-wise, the whole thing would be somewhat more expensive than with Klaiber, but still within range.
That doesn't make it much easier for me now. In any case, with Weinor it would be possible to get our preferred cassette shape also with a wide fabric strip. Regarding wind, the representative said he wouldn’t worry. As long as you are still sitting outside when the wind blows, the awning will be fine. And in 30 years, he has never had one torn off by the wind.
I now have to look at Klaiber and Weinor again on the internet and sleep on it. What is also positive about Weinor is that all casing colors and fabrics are included. With Klaiber, there is an additional charge for that.
