A very spacious floor plan, so far okay. What I don't like is the entrance area. The hallway is significantly cut off by the corner of the pantry. That would normally be a representative room, but after opening the front door you have to step left after two steps, I would rather reduce the size of the pantry. By having two doors from the garage into the house, you significantly reduce the overall width of the garage in a considerable area. Consider again whether the doors from the garage and the house can be designed side by side or without such a loss of space. The storage or closet space in the kitchen is very tight, you won't manage with that. I find the arrangement in the bathroom upstairs unfortunate. When sitting on the toilet, you just stare blankly at the wall.

Perhaps I should also mention that we want to build with a basement. I think the garage should be big enough then? The recess in the garage was intended so that we can go from the garage into the house without getting our feet wet and so our guests don't have to stand in the rain at the front door. In the kitchen, on the wall to the pantry, the oven, freezer, and refrigerator should be in a 3-unit cabinet, so there will still be quite a bit of storage space in the two kitchen rows, certainly more than before :) But I will think about this again.

Solid plan - standard, I'd say. I also don't like the bathroom layout that much, but it should be easy to change quickly. The front door looks so tiny, how wide is it?

If you like large representative entrance halls, a quite valid point. Since I’m not really into halls, I find the offset quite nice. It gives the hallway some "structure." The hallway should still be big/wide enough here.

The garage is wide enough for 2 cars, the annex is an addition for storing bikes and such. I find the shelter (doors) ok, although I personally am a fan of inviting and visible front doors ;)

At the beginning I didn’t see the closet area on the wall between kitchen and utility room either. That should be enough, you can store stuff right next door... I would pay attention to the workspace, a few meters are lost for kettle, coffee machine, and stuff. Maybe change the door swing to the utility room?!

I agree. But a more precise bathroom design can be optimized later with this room. Otherwise a nice mosaic spot-the-difference picture opposite the toilet tiles, otherwise you’d get bored ;)

I always read in the toilet, at least I have some peace and quiet there ;-) The front door is 1.10 meters wide and has sidelights on the left and right of about 0.6 meters each.

Do you think there are enough windows in the living area?
