Water dripped from the zinc vase onto the parquet floor

Hello everyone,

while we were on vacation, our neighbors were supposed to water the flowers outside. Unfortunately, they meant well and also watered the plants inside. Now water has apparently been dripping from the pot onto the parquet floor for over 2 weeks. The result can be seen in the picture.
Is there any way to save it?
It probably won't be possible to remove it 100%, but somehow the worst should at least be removable?

pot, side table, flower bench etc

I would consider having the spot replaced. Do you still have any leftover parquet? Otherwise, I think with the right chemicals and a delicate touch, it can be spruced up. Maybe ask a wood expert (carpenter, joiner) and test their suggested option on a small area?

There is a product from Woka against oxidation stains. It works quite well. But it does not completely remove them without a trace.

Do the neighbors have [Privathaftpflicht]? That would be a classic case. Then it will be professionally exchanged - probably the only way. Tinkering around can’t work in my opinion.
