does anyone have experience with the Meister Lindura wood floor of the newer generation HD 400? Is the floor recommended or would you advise against it?
We are considering installing this floor in our new build.

We had the same idea a year ago, back then with the predecessor model. There are great widths, but I couldn’t find any reviews anywhere. A friend of mine works at a sawmill and he is enthusiastic and has received no negative feedback. Now with the new house, we will ask ourselves the same question again, now with the HD400 model. Meister is a great company and I can’t imagine it’s rubbish. What I read said that the floor is very robust, but on the other hand, it explicitly says to use pads under chairs... well, you do that anyway because otherwise you ruin any floor. We then decided on Meister but for parquet ...200 I think in second quality. We have 160 sqm of that here and I could take exactly the same again. For me, it is first quality anyway, technically and also visually almost no waste. Price was €25 gross! We installed it floating over underfloor heating and I will do the same again. It only creaks at very few spots occasionally, and in the worst case I can replace something once. So for me, it’s an option but in second quality for so many square meters. Regarding quality I wouldn’t have any concerns; it looks good anyway.
I'm really sorry for you. Thank you for your feedback and sharing your experience. At the time, for exactly these "reasons," I decided against Lindura and chose real parquet. If you want nature, then properly. A hybrid (Lindura) is the wrong choice from my point of view because it is less robust than normal laminate/design flooring etc. and at the same time not repairable/sandable like parquet/wood. We are very satisfied with freshly installed Meister oak parquet. Certainly, after 4 weeks it is not as flawless as laminate would be (scratches, dents...), but it is a pure joy to see and walk on the natural wood warmth and grain. Even the children keep noticing this positively. If necessary, the dents will be repaired...This floor is the worst rubbish, it was sold to us as a very durable real wood floor, but the opposite is true. Every small drop of water that is not wiped away immediately penetrates the floor and remains there forever. We were shocked when we moved a flowerpot and the floor underneath was black. Please do not buy this floor; it is absolutely not recommended and only causes trouble.
