Waste storage/waste separation system

Definitely make the pull-out trash bin electric with push activation. Very practical and not expensive. 3-part trash (Rest, bio, gelb)

We have an 80-liter bin under the sink: a large container for packaging (half a yellow bag), one medium each for residual waste and paper, and a large bin that fits a paper bag for organic waste (emptied daily to every two days).

The half-filled yellow bag then goes into the storage room (closed), and the next half-filled one is filled with it. Glass, metal, and batteries are also stored in the storage room.

We have a 60 cm cabinet next to the sink. On top, three bins (Hailo Triple XL, 28 / 13 / 13L) for residual waste, yellow bag, and organic waste. Below, the drawer is shared by glass recycling and paper recycling.

We have a wide (1m?) drawer under the sink with 4 buckets. In one of them there is a trash bag for residual waste, in the other 3 we collect for the yellow bin. Organic waste is collected in/at the sink in a sieve so that it can dry properly and is then taken out to the bin every 1-2 days. Paper is in the hallway next to the front door, can be taken along when going to the garage, and glass is in a box in the utility room.
