Vinyl vs. Lindura, cork print, laminate? (Logoclic Xtreme)

I understand it to mean that the top layer is real wood, underneath there is this "wonder material" and below that comes an MDF carrier board. Presumably, the sawdust, uh, wood powder is used to create a as stable (hard) substructure as possible for the wood, which is quite thin - so in the end it's a kind of laminate but with a real wood surface.

In the catalog, you can see the structure of the product. The decisive argument for us is: It has an oiled wood surface (so you feel the wood and not the lacquered plastic as with laminate), but you don’t have to worry if children storm the house with football boots or guests with high heels.

Oiled feels better, but it is also much more sensitive, right?

Oiled surfaces enhance the natural characteristic of the wood. Both the grain and the natural color are visually highlighted as a result. Oil allows the wood to breathe, acts antistatic, and therefore creates a positive indoor climate...
Also, as you already say, it feels more natural.
Some people are into lacquered surfaces, but we are not.
