No, not as far as I know. The regular lock boards are unfortunately priced outrageously. Maybe our assumption is wrong, but we don’t want to take the risk and therefore rely on durable parquet.
I still have to sort the offers. But so far, consistently 20+ x percent off the retail price is regularly possible if this can be communicated here like that.
Yesterday, Lindura was recommended to us in the specialty store. Visually and also haptically, it makes a really good impression.
Has anyone had any experience with the floor yet? I am particularly interested in whether a floating installation of the floor is recommended - we would also lay it in the kitchen, among other places.
Hello! We are also currently building and are facing the big decision of whether to lay engineered parquet or Lindura in the house. Lindura would be considerably cheaper to purchase compared to the parquet we have chosen. Another advantage is the hardness of the material. The salesperson in the store showed us with the oak parquet that it is apparently quite easy to get dents in it (he made a small dent with a plastic ballpoint pen). Since we also want to lay parquet in the kitchen, this is also a significant criterion for us. Are there already any experiences with Lindura veneer parquet? Do you have to expect that this millimeter-thin wood layer will wear away / disappear over time and only a black "something" remains? In that case, I would rather invest the money in a proper parquet (although ours would be textured and you never sand that anyway...) Best regards!
