Why houses are almost inevitably built as if you were a subtenant of your cars, I still haven't figured out. Before I committed a crime like the one illustrated in Post #3, I would rather accept a few steps and possibly raindrops. But that's actually off-topic... Fingers crossed!

We made a "small" detour today... The house in the south is really quite a bit lower, so the view from a bit higher up should be pretty nice. You could see the entire valley past the house. It feels like a mountain village, not just a little bit. But it's only 12 minutes to the city outskirts, so quite unusual. Managing all the construction vehicles on this narrow dead-end street would certainly not be easy.

Also, the following was important to me because of the internet situation:

The thumbs being crossed is really meant seriously. I would truly be happy for you!

As I suspected, according to the development plan only 1 floor. If you raise the basement [UG] to 3 m above the street, then you even have a great view from the basement [UG]. :) Fingers crossed.

I don't have 287 / 40 Mbps.

Think both ways. Place the garage near the street and fairly level with it, and connect a corridor from there to your basement; the house can then be placed somewhat apart, optimized for views and living. You can also reach the vehicles with dry feet even when carrying groceries. Make the corridor a bit wider and you might even have a well-tempered wine cellar. Some problems can be solved with money, and the income situation you described surely allows for that. Do you need the actual speed of the internet connection for individual applications or the bandwidth for parallel applications? In the latter case, you can easily run several 50Mbit connections (provided Telekom has enough copper pairs available).

Well, without problems ... I would (pay attention to equipotential bonding!) never take multiple connections from the same provider.
