Tiles in the living area - baseboards made of tiles or wood?

so we also chose white wooden strips for our floor tiles.

We will lay tiles with wood decor throughout the ground floor and first floor, and the baseboards will also be tiles with wood decor. In our current (and also a previous) rental apartment, I see baseboards in wood decor, find them nice, and assume that they will also look good in tile form.

Right now, I am wondering whether our prefabricated house supplier will cover the costs for this or whether baseboard (tiles) are not included in the offer. I will take a look.

For example, we removed our "tile package" from the house construction and had it done by a local tiler. This way, we could choose the tiles and baseboard tiles ourselves and paid half the price compared to the house builder.

So I find the wooden baseboards from very fitting with the chosen tiles. Our wood-look tiles are rather light, but I could still well imagine it.

Yes, but it's always hard to imagine it in the entire room based on individual sample tiles. At least we find it not easy. o_O

Then just have the tiles laid first and decide afterwards.

For me it is clear that the baseboard is made from the same material as the floor. That's how we implemented it as well.

Then I'll just throw in powder-coated aluminum strip into the mix ..

We liked the baseboard made from the floor tile best, matching the grout pattern. Upstairs we have white baseboards, which are quite a bit more sensitive than the tile baseboards on the ground floor...
