House facade - paint exterior tiles?

The tiles are really awesome

You often see houses where these incredibly ugly yellow or light brown clinker bricks have been painted over. Not a highlight afterwards either, but definitely better.... with these outdoor things, I wouldn't go to the hardware store, better to check at the trusted specialist store... (I know, not a particularly helpful answer).
