Tiles in the living area - baseboards made of tiles or wood?

I can't show anything yet, but I also wanted to make the baseboards out of white wood in living spaces - despite tiles (although also in wood look). Only in the wet rooms tile baseboards, although this is limited because my wife wants at least 1.2-1.5m of tiles everywhere.

Just like in real life.... :D, although in my imagination the baseboard was brown, that is wood-colored. As shown here, it also looks nice, for me it belongs more to the wall in terms of color.

So I find the wooden baseboards from very suitable for the chosen tiles. Our wood-look tiles are rather light, but I can still well imagine it.

In the end, whatever pleases is allowed.

Yes, but it is always difficult to imagine it in the whole room based on individual sample tiles. At least we find it not easy. o_O

Tiles throughout the entire ground floor. 60*120. In a kind of cement look. A somewhat warmer gray. Baseboards wood painted white. For my taste, nothing else. (Except bathroom, of course tile baseboards).

Friends of mine have the same: grey tiles and white baseboard. I was initially surprised but find it great in the living areas.

Just read that you make tiles in wood look. Now, wood look is, of course, a broad term. But actually, you can simply orient yourself on the appearance of a parquet floor. We have oak parquet upstairs and also white wooden baseboards everywhere there (except of course again in the bathroom). I think that looks very modern.
