Many tiles had lifted extensively after 27 years. I have now removed almost all the remaining tiles. Almost all of them were easy to remove without breaking.
It is about 4 m² in a small bathroom in the attic studio.
15 m² of floor tiles of the same type in a total of two guest WCs and two bathrooms show no weaknesses.
1) How should I proceed with the construction?
2) In the pictures, a gray substrate can be seen. Is that the screed?
3) I could also leave the work to the floor layer. Approximately how much does he charge for the removal?
4) Is it enough to remove the construction with a spatula, or is a milling machine needed?
One photo shows the transition to the parquet floor of the adjoining room.
Thank you
