The screed surface will be subjected to a cleaning grind, the dust vacuumed off, the entire surface primed with a dispersion, and then covered with a suitable leveling compound in the necessary thickness. DONE! Whether the height difference of 8mm is achieved by a ceramic tile or by a mineral leveling compound is practically completely irrelevant for the thermal conductivity and thermal resistance.
