yes, waiting is of course an option. We will have the garden with terraces newly laid out at the beginning of next year, so it would have been nice to integrate the point foundations into the construction measure and complete everything in one go. However, the delivery times for the elements are already 4-6 months (for both offers received), so it probably won’t be a perfect landing anyway. I don’t know how you feel, but such a roof is, given the overall weather situation, a pure luxury problem and one has to be grateful that one can even think about it. However, this does not lead to a fatalistic attitude of just closing one’s eyes and getting through it, at least not for us. At the prices asked, everyone who has already completed the project can consider themselves lucky. We have just put our photovoltaic system into operation (12 months from accepted offer to commissioning) and see that we were actually lucky (quote from the system builder: inverters can currently be weighed with gold....). Of course, projects can be killed by sitting them out, but in this case with the roof waiting is apparently the only sensible option, or else the umbrella solution (no comparison, I know...)
