Katja, looks good, I would do it immediately if I got it like this today... Do you have a picture for me, if it doesn't fit here, feel free to send it via PM?

Here is a picture of how it looked in the end:

The tiles are still missing here, which are now on, and the cables are still lying around, the gutter is still uncovered - just not completely finished yet. As you can see, we made a concrete slab for the terrace. That simplified a lot for the rails and everything else. At that time, it wasn’t so expensive yet. ;)

Thank you, it looks great and the price is a bargain compared to my offers. Ok, the rooftop solution supposedly only makes a 1500 price difference, but the base price is simply not correct.

That's really a good price (by today's standards). Are there actually certain dimensions that should be adhered to in order not to make it unnecessarily expensive? Awning widths/depths or similar?

As far as I know, the parts are custom-made. There are more structural limitations. Unfortunately, I don't know exactly, but from about 6m width, it needs an additional support in the middle in my opinion. From more than 3m depth, a building permit is required here, which also causes some costs. The awnings also have a maximum width – unfortunately I don’t remember it anymore. I believe at 6m, it already required 2 pieces.
