I would suggest simply reading the fee schedule, which also regulates what is billed according to the fee schedule... a building staking is a service according to HOAI and can cost a lot or a little

The building surveying is a service according to the fee schedule

We paid about 1400 for the surveying as part of the construction project and about 300 for the building surveying according to the fee schedule.

Thank you , correct answer.

: I do not know the fee schedule in Saxony, but for that, you would not get the services in NRW or only with great difficulty. Of course, there are also "number crunchers" among the publicly appointed surveyors, but 1700€ gross is not too much for the package.

Nevertheless, it may be worthwhile to obtain two more offers; but please make sure that the services are also listed and named individually in a comparable way.

However, I do not believe there is much room for negotiation. The cost for the pure building measurement in Saxony (source just googled, not checked for up-to-dateness) is 860€ gross. That means that the remaining services are supposed to cost 840€ gross, although, according to experience, more work goes into it.

Best regards
Dirk Grafe

A related question. We received our property from the municipality. The contract states that the surveying of the property is carried out by the municipality. I would now link the above-mentioned 1-2 items to this. Then I would only have to pay for items 3-4, right?

No, only four. I have the same contract, only pay for the four myself. Around 900,-. Karsten

Pay attention to the words. Property [Gemeinde]. As for the house itself, yours.
