I will also do the thing with the empty conduits.

I had also commissioned 7 empty conduits including 5-core cable to a central point, which costs me €76.5 each. So the 4 empty conduits would not cost me more than 4 x €76.5, which is acceptable compared to 4 x €360.

Hello everyone,

sorry that I haven't written for a while. I have been intensively dealing with our surcharge list as well as the items and your responses. We have a second meeting tonight. By removing one or the other item, we have already come down by about €3,500.

    [*] questioned sockets
[*] patch panel will be organized by ourselves
[*] switches were also partially reduced, as upon closer inspection they were partly exaggerated
[*] LAN connection in the bedroom and hallway removed
    [*] etc.

Let's see what comes out tonight. I hope to save something more through own work on the LAN cables. We will probably keep the antenna on the roof. Thanks to you all for the previous responses!

Best regards,
Alex

If you have no replacement for the LAN in the hallway, then I wouldn't remove it. Because in our hallway the access point for the upper floor is connected. Although we could have left it out, then one of the three children's rooms would have been occupied.

I also find the prices excessive! But the "extras" are simply the item from which the developers make a profit.

Buy materials cheaply and hire the trusted electrician - that way you greatly reduce your expenses.

But with that, you are far from the reality of a general contractor - he will give you a hard time - own contributions are only possible after approval. Period!

And then you want to open up the plaster again and mill slots?

Or completely remove the electrics and at best get a laughable amount for it? The general contractor would have to cooperate there as well.

The deal is done, believe me!

I only had my general contractor electrician do what was included. Or rather, one or two additional sockets where it seemed appropriate.

Everything else, including additional outlets, like one or two more next to a single one, I had done by "my" electrician. It was absolutely no problem. My site manager also said she wouldn’t count during the acceptance inspection which sockets belong to whom. The general contractor electrician wanted to install the satellite system as well, but it was too expensive for me. So he only ran the cables centrally up to the meter cabinet, which of course was very inconvenient. My electrician then pulled them to where the hole to the outside is, and also installed the satellite holder. My electrician also brought the main power cable.

So much for the topic being far from the reality of the general contractor.
