I remember.

The houses don't match the desired house, only the catalog price matches the desired budget, because house and budget don't come together.
However, the house price outside the catalog is an unknown.

I think the budget is doable. But then you have to be aware that there’s no frills included. I don’t necessarily see the double carport in there... I’ve learned that our expectations are rather modest (although we don’t feel like we have to give up anything). Many easily spend 100,000 euros on things that weren’t important to us but seem indispensable to them. At the beginning, you really don’t have an overview of which options and surcharges to expect during the house construction. I planned a generous buffer and yet my estimate was often below the actual price asked. A layperson simply has no feel for the price structure. And “we’ll do it later” certainly proves difficult in many cases, because under the burden of a construction loan, you can’t just easily free up 15,000 euros from your current salary.

Of course, it is possible to build cheaply.
Anyone who can do the math:
A 120 sqm house (2 children's rooms, 1 guest, 1 master bedroom) can also cost 180,000,
A 109 sqm house (without guest) can cost 165,000.

But the OP wants a 6! bedroom house.

And chooses a cheap option where not everything is included, even if it looks that way at first glance.

If a tells me that he has estimated all costs and only has to pay so much for x, y and z, then you can assume that he has planned costs x, y and z.

But if the OP comes up with ancillary building costs that were valid for the simplest land 4 years ago, plus a house price that is spit out by the internet/postal code system, then I see that x, y and z are not calculated at all.
All the figures are here in the forum, you just have to look.

It is actually included in the price.

They are off the table since I found out what the floor area ratio means and that it becomes more expensive to build a bungalow.

That one is also out due to the higher price.

We could still manage a 3 upfront, a 4 would definitely be too much.

Actually, it should only be 5.

The figures from Town & Country were an offer directly from the planner.
