Smooth & uniform wall with microcement possible?

but you already know that microcement costs at least 200, rather 300-400€ per m² - right? My two nephews have it in the bathroom, partly as an "effect surface", partly in the shower. I think it’s extremely great in both cases, even though they are totally different approaches.

Yep, I'm aware of the prices. I only wanted to do the 2 side walls of the shower as well as the strip above the bathtub. An effect in terms of color and a different appearance is desired. Only on some pictures it looks extremely blotchy, which I wouldn't want. Hence my question about how or what influences that.
