Just did a practical test. The water splashes next to the hanging towels, the floor tile is 60x60. The wall-side one is slightly shortened. The tiled shower seat does not significantly hold back water when you let the overhead shower rain on you. So it's about 180 cm. The divided tile already has a slope. Wiping with the squeegee is part of the showering process.

We have the shower on the front side with access from the short side. See: https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/Regendusche-nachrüsten-Tipps-erbeten.32726/page-5 When I shower, the water reaches about 140, for my husband up to 200. That is also the length of the shower. It definitely makes a difference where the shower is installed - whether lengthwise or crosswise.

How many threads does one and the same bathroom need? https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/Planung-Badezimmer.32392/

11ant, I think I need a total of 6 threads. So, there will be a few more. And how many useless posts from 11ant does this thread need?

Just imagine that I made a mistake out of confusion and lack of knowledge. Your crappy, stupid, arrogant, and unnecessary question is not helpful at all. You can just contribute something helpful to the thread. If not, then don't. It's not such a big deal. You can also make your remark in a reasonable tone, it doesn’t have to be so condescending. Unless you think you're smart or good about it yourself. Then at least you would be helped. In any case, it doesn’t help me except that I feel uncomfortable when someone snaps at me so stupidly over a mistake. I did not create the duplicate thread on purpose.

I would never make less than 160cm without door. We have a 160cm shower tray and it still splashes out a little, about 20cm. So ideally it should be at least 180cm.

Thank you, al3x. It’s clear what you’re writing. Here in the thread, the idea was brought up that I could install a shower and a bathtub. Possible, but I discarded the idea again. I really don’t bathe often, and for that it’s not worth it, I think. So there is plenty of space left for the shower. If I take 180, the shower always kind of cuts up the room. Hmm, where do I best place the shower?
