You hardly ever hear this confession in Germany. You could almost rename Germany "Land of the Middle" – the "upper class" is usually only the others, as if it were a disgrace.

From 300-450k, it always depends on what is offered. (Detached, plot, condition)

OK, thanks. Then I will also consider offers from Rheinhausen, as that also opens up new opportunities.

Message from "the Pott": Even billionaires live here... meaning: You have to know the rough spots, then you live wonderfully here. There are also advantages: Socialized here, you really put heart above money, as Grönemeyer already sang. But then your temper flares when you come to Munich. Great city, unfortunately inhabited by people who consider themselves even better than the Düsseldorfers. I prefer to look out of the skylight at night onto the brightly lit colliery, beyond clans and whatever else there is, and enjoy being where people are straightforward, get straight to the point, get work done where they see it, and rather end the evening together at the grill with beer than Prosecco. For children, there is, thank God, more corrupting than growing up among this type of people.

Snore, can’t get more cliché? Noble Schröder from Düsseldorf with his office job against the honest steel worker? That was already exaggerated back in the days of the Schimanski crime series.

Standing on the gasometer in the steam roar, and all you see is Oberhausen ...
