Situation in the real estate market... madness

The Duisburg area and 100km surroundings are so ugly that no one would ever want to live there voluntarily. Bavaria is simply the more attractive location, but does it have to be Munich? I don't think so

Honestly, Bavaria is totally monotonous. I've driven through a few times now and all I see are meadows and nothing else. No beautiful landscape... (you notice that yourself, right?) But the Münsterland (you said a 100 kilometer radius) is of course totally ugly. Or Düsseldorf. The ugliest city there is and then those ugly national parks...

Local patriotism combined with tossing around clichés would deserve its own thread due to its entertainment value entitled: "It's nice here and not there - nyah nyah." We could happily tease each other there.

: do you have to go over the Rhine to the East or do you work in the West? If commuting, I would avoid the Rhine bridges. The Bavarians might be drawn to the Alps – if you commute northwards.
