It's not about you having different preferences, but about you thinking that no one else can implement them better than yourselves.

I am also just an amateur, I didn't even dare to post my floor plans here (I should have done it better) but I have read a lot here and you wouldn't believe how many architects and builders have already sold their clients the biggest nonsense as the golden calf... and here it comes out. Unfortunately, humans are a credulous species. Here I have learned that it can always be done better... as long as one does not close oneself off to it.

There will be a cat flap to the shower bathroom. The tomcats are outdoor cats but there is no longer a cat flap to the outside. We had that for 8 years and discontinued it 2 years ago. Nightly mouse hunts with the whole family or rotting carcasses well hidden in the tool shelf, closely followed by a mouse that lived inside the cat pillow, made us rethink that.

Our kitchen plan is attached. The kitchen planner "cut off" the dining area on the floor plan. That's why it looks so different. To the right of the French door there will be a corner bench.

Make sure that the faucet does not collide with the opening window. On the graphic, it looks like that.

Yes... the right sash will be fixed. The changes to the workshop planning have not yet been incorporated.

Cold rooms like in houses before the energy saving ordinance times no longer exist. You no longer have the cold stairwell for the penguins to move into.

No, luckily we know what life with an autistic person is like.

Oh yes, the mice and other things in the apartment. Never with a cat flap

Well, you:

By "cold area" a hallway is probably meant, I assume. By the way: you might want to educate yourselves again about the sense of not heating rooms in a new building under the Energy Saving Ordinance with (I assume) underfloor heating, to save energy.

If your daughter is afraid of dark rooms, going downstairs on the way to the children's room could be quite problematic, right? That’s apparently not a problem? I guess, "there is no other way there anyway."

The guest bathroom door also has a cat flap? Awesome. Not only do you hear every little noise in the living room, now the cat can come in uninvited while I’m on the throne and escape past me. Cool.

Well, there’s no point in shaking the cornerstones here. It’s too late for that. It’s not a disaster anyway. As long as you’re happy, we are too.
