Wow, that’s already a massive earth movement!
How much budget have you planned just for the house and the incidental construction costs?
Since we are planning a ring trench collector, which will also find its place in the garden, we will carry out the rough earth movement in EL in advance.
What do you mean by appropriate? You have a lot of extra space there, which is missing elsewhere, specifically in the kitchen and wardrobe space. You are planning for 4 people, maybe even 5, and have a small emergency wardrobe niche...
The living room corner on the right side of the plan is only 3.50 meters wide. Where is the TV supposed to go?
I would make a wardrobe room at the top left side of the plan and pull the kitchen towards the current all-purpose room. The pantry can share the space with the wardrobe up there. The pantry now is also not really efficiently furnished – a shelf behind the door and a freezer... you could furnish that more efficiently in a properly planned kitchen with 90 cm of kitchen length.
The idea to place the kitchen at the top left of the plan was to have the view facing the street. In a second draft, it was drawn as you suggested. However, I then see problems with the evening light incidence in the kitchen and the façade design in the entrance area.
Pulling the kitchen more toward the all-purpose room means, in the end, placing the dining table perpendicular to the kitchen island, which isn’t really a problem.
The living room corner is tight, I agree. The TV was intended to face the utility room.
Yes, I can hardly imagine that right now, especially the bay window… how it will be furnished. Please give the measurements as well.
Only one bathroom for 4 people in the house, there should at least be a shower on the ground floor, kids grow up...
If this house form is desired or necessary, then there are endless floor plan examples online for families like you. The ground floor area is not well solved. Entrance to the kitchen after the front door, hardly any wardrobe, yet a lot of space wasted. Especially the living space doesn’t appeal to me so far. Furrrniture :D, and... are you TV couch users?
There is a shower planned on the ground floor.
Thanks for the suggestions. We will now look again very intensively with cardboard at possible placements and space requirements based on the floor plans.
Does it maybe make sense fundamentally to rethink a rotation of the house? Pull the third gable on the side of the plan to the left? Entrance door between garage and the eaves side of the house with a canopy? I have the impression that maybe we are a bit stuck here. That would also fit the suggestion from
