Single-family house with 135 sqm living area plus basement with integrated garage/office

The kitchen is rather impractical. The SBS cannot stand in the corner, the doors need more space. A counter does not fit (the house is not big enough) and is also unnecessary because the table is right next to it.

And as haydee has already pointed out, swapping the living room and kitchen would be a good idea.

Just no PDFs! They are very cumbersome to open for some here (Tablet, Smartphone).

The staircase is fundamentally placed incorrectly. You can see: no 3 reasonable rooms. It does not divide the house in a way that you get adequate living space upstairs. I'm wondering right now: interior designers do decoration and are familiar with styles. Also historical ones, Baroque, Chippendale and so on. Nowadays they call themselves homestagers.

Uploading PDFs has never worked for me so far and, as I have now learned, they are also not very commentator-friendly and should not be uploaded anyway. Do you want to convert your PDFs into jpg using a converter? There are free converters, you can find them via Google search. Then you can edit the file if necessary via "Open with Paint". This is the only way I have found so far.

Removing the garage and using the basement. Are you seriously planning a bedroom where one of you always has to climb? That alone would be a reason for a redesign.

The kitchen belongs next to the terrace. It is more practical. You don't plan the dining area near the kitchen inside for no reason

thanks already for the information. The bedroom has already been changed or rather the stairs will be a quarter-turn stair and then end where the green line makes the floor to the hallway. The part of the right children's room that was bigger will become the hallway, and at the back where the toilet is drawn in, you enter the bathroom! The toilet will then be in the area where the dressing room was. We would move the storage room to the basement!

Where would you move the garage to? I read in another post about pushing the basement forward... what exactly does that mean?

The bedroom is a disaster. Not acceptable at all! My 8-year-old would find that perfect as a bed hell.

Okay, since the plot is on a south-facing slope and the course of the sun means that in the morning the kitchen would get the sun and then further over the dining room and towards the west, we planned the kitchen with the living area so that they face south, as there is also an unobstructed view of the adjacent forest there.
I will post a few more pictures of the location of the house. Our plot would be number 6!!
