Yes, it is. It belongs to my family. So, there is no problem in terms of land ownership.

Hello Climbee, thank you for your feedback. I understand your concern: the discussion with some Ore Mountains craftsmen resulted in the fact that the regional typical Ore Mountains building style is more based on makeshift solutions than on technically sensible decisions. The extremely steep roof is simply difficult when it comes to living space. And the house should definitely have an Ore Mountains character. I have just been dreaming of a wooden house all my life – and it always looked like this: basement/ground floor white on the outside, upper floor/attic wooden on the outside.

In another thread, your (y)our free self-determination, over which no one else has a right to judge, was still somehow more important to you... how quickly the wind can turn sometimes...

I also think that the taste should not be judged here, I am not used to that from Climbee and find it inappropriate...

The OP could at least respond specifically to the countless legitimate objections and criticisms!?!

Regarding this prep kitchen, I understand it to mean that the gentleman has leased a place opposite (in the future), but the kitchen there is too small and that’s why he would like to cook in advance at home... the purpose is questionable, but I think that’s what is meant.

Does poor Valerie actually have a light allergy or why doesn’t she get a window?

Hi,

here I am again ... was on a business trip. So let's go:

: What is so absurd to you about the idea of the prep kitchen? My cousin runs an alpine hut in the Karwendel. They have a prep kitchen in the residential house downstairs in Seefeld where they do prep cooking for the season etc. That works perfectly.

And Valerie should also get a window - preferably with a dormer. I just couldn't manage that in the floorplanner.

I tried a new floor plan on the ground floor to build upon it when planning the basement and the upper floor.

Do you start planning the floor plan on the ground floor? I would say that makes sense since most usage takes place here. What does the forum say about that?

So, here is the attempt for a new floor plan. On the ground floor, our wishes are still fulfilled regarding:

    [*
      open floor plan
      [*]central masonry heater
[*]Musche-Pu-Pu corner in the living area as a couch replacement and TV corner
      [*]pantry connected to the kitchen
      [*]guest/workroom
      [*]bathroom including shower and toilet

    New is:

[*]staircase to the upper floor not in the hallway but from the kitchen-living area
      [LIST]
[*]the advantage would be that mom & dad cook downstairs and the kids play upstairs
[*]you can call from downstairs to upstairs that the food is on the table
[*]the "family living area" on the ground and upper floors is thus more separated from the "guest area" in the guest room and bathroom on the ground floor

[*]utility room connected to the pantry for washing machine and dryer

[*]thus they disappear upstairs in the bathroom

Could the forum please give me feedback on the floor plan so I can optimize it before I start on the upper floor and basement.

That would be great!

Sunny greetings
