I totally understand.
The entrance area reminded me a bit of ours, except you turned the guest toilet around.
I can only tell you: what else will go on the empty wall? That’s absolutely wasted space and not very nice either.
Otherwise, plan both sides something like this (see picture – in the mirror you can see they also have two solutions)
It looks great, doesn’t create a feeling of claustrophobia, and still provides a lot of storage space for stuff

I idiot...... that's the stairs ;D I didn't recognize it... I actually thought the cabinet was supposed to go right there (I thought this cross was for the wardrobe)
