Hello kbt,

we have requested the stair measurements:
Rise: 18.3 cm, tread 26 cm. Is that okay?

not fizzy... incline is okay, the tread may well be 1-2 cm more (at least my opinion)

Window dimensions: unfortunately, I can only measure the widths here:
Ground floor: Living room west: approx. 1.7m window
Living room south: approx. 1.9m doors
Dining room south: approx. 3m: three doors, Dining room west: approx. 1m door
Kitchen south: 1.4m window, which might possibly still become a door
Kitchen east: 1.4m window
Storage room: approx. 0.9m window
WC/shower: approx. 0.9m window
Staircase: approx. 0.75m wide window, which is higher though
Study north: approx. 1m door
Study west: approx. 1.4m window
Garage east: three 2m windows, which are high up and not tall
Upper floor: Parents west: 1.7m window, which is higher up and not very tall
Parents north: 1.4m window
Bathroom north: 1.4m window
Room above the garage: approx. 1.9m floor-to-ceiling, two-part window
Child 2 east: approx. 1.4m window
Child 2 south: approx. 1m floor-to-ceiling window
Child 1 south: approx. 1m floor-to-ceiling window
Child 1 west: approx. 1.7m window

Hello, I would definitely create a terrace access from the kitchen. I find that even more important than from the living room.

The kitchen layout needs improvement.

If possible, definitely install a large shower; it's simply great.

Otherwise, I find the floor plan good.

Hello BeHaElJa,

thank you for your ideas for the hallway and the basement.

Making the storage room bigger at the expense of the shower room is possible. However, we would like to have a changing table and a cabinet for towels, among other things, in the shower room. The changing table does not need to be as wide as drawn, the cabinet should actually be behind the door and the door further to the left. But we will take another look to see if it can be arranged differently. I also like the idea of using the storage room as a wardrobe and removing the wall, but we still need to discuss that internally.

There is supposed to be a room above the garage, so the passage between the house and the garage will presumably be made of concrete, at least not of glass. Then the question is how much a side panel at the front door would help, whether enough light would come in there at all.

Should the window be in the stairwell? There is already one planned there...

The stairwell goes from the basement to the upper floor, so there is no space under the stairs for a storage room.

Thank you Tanja.bee.

The kitchen is not really planned as drawn. See also the first response to BeHaElJa.

The terrace access in the kitchen is currently very popular and will be implemented depending on the kitchen planning.
