Thank you very much for the quick feedback. Then we will probably go for a clear height of 260cm or whatever the size of the stones is.

We have stuck with the floor plan for the time being. Since there were so many opinions, we don't know what to do anymore....

I don’t think it’s that bad at all, personally I would change a few things, but it’s a matter of taste (e.g. either the kitchen or the living room as a separate room). I like the utility room next to the kitchen, we will do something similar (aka pantry). The multipurpose room on the ground floor, that’s open for discussion. We’re planning something similar as a guest room/office. To be honest, I also don’t think a urinal in the guest toilet is a bad idea. Upstairs, I would make the bedroom smaller, in my opinion that’s already overkill. Whether 12 sqm would also be enough for the bathroom, that would have to be considered; also, I don’t like bathtubs that protrude into the room, but again, it’s a matter of taste. But I would definitely make a second bathroom upstairs. You can easily take the space for that from the bedroom; it doesn’t need to be 8 sqm so that the kids can get ready there in the morning. Clothes that you can’t fit in the dressing room will also find a place in the basement or attic; if you’re honest, you only need many things once or twice a year, but you deal with the clutter in the bathroom every morning. For the basement, I would plan a separate entrance, i.e. with stairs going down. That way you don’t have to carry everything that goes in or out through the house (I’m thinking of gardening tools…). Otherwise: a laundry chute from the upper floor to the laundry cellar is very high on our wish list… Regards

I have two children in their teenage years. They would never use a bathroom that cannot be locked. You have planned such a spacious bathroom, I would definitely treat myself to a children’s bathroom upstairs as well.

Best regards
Sabine
