Shower easy to care for and still beautiful

It is certainly debatable what "a few individual drops" are, but 40 or even 45 centimeters less would likely change the result drastically.

But it also depends on shower habits. I now have a glass cabin and when my wife showers, the entire floor in front of the entrance is completely wet afterwards. Whether that happens during or after showering - no idea. When I have showered, it is really just a few drops.

That is certainly true, but I dare to claim that with only 70 cm of wall length, even the most careful shower user will produce overflowing/splashing water.

So I have already had various length and width solutions, but I consider these 70cm from your initial picture to be hardly sensible. Of course, "everything" is always possible, and it depends especially on your showering habits, but 70cm in length and only a 50cm passage I would rather see as an emergency solution. Whether this "justifies" building a bidet if it so to speak prevents comfortable showering....? There are also 140cm bathtubs........but whether I want that....?

It is easier to clean a full glass wall than a half-high wall + glass wall. Depending on the design, an edge or shelf is placed on the wall, which makes cleaning significantly more complicated.
Wiping down a glass wall doesn't take long, and it only takes 5 seconds longer if it is 2m high instead of 1m.

I wonder anyway if there isn’t some kind of nano-/lotus film/coating that really and permanently works. Something that makes the water bead off without leaving residue. It can be expensive if it lasts accordingly...

But how about a proper descaling system? I would personally also be interested in how well it works and what costs it causes.

But you can "reapply" it. So there are products you can apply. Whether all this nano stuff really does anything...?
