Did you install the glass element yourself or have it done? Is the rail on the floor the guide for the glass?there are glass stabilizers that are mounted on the ceiling instead of, like in your case, on the side wall. That looks nicer. I have a 140cm Duscholux Air2. It works without a stabilizer anyway! I've never heard of anyone scraping off the tiles either. I only rinse them briefly with the hand shower because of the shower gel and shampoo residues. That's totally enough. The shower wall measuring 140x220 takes exactly 30 seconds to be squeegeed from top to bottom (I'm very thorough). Half wall, half glass certainly means more cleaning effort than a continuous glass wall! By the way, I have a total length of 210cm. 140 glass wall, 70 passage. At the back end there is a towel dryer. It has never gotten water. Even when the woman waves the hand shower around.

I also have two questions about your photo:

But there is nothing mounted on the ceiling in the picture?
2. You can see a silver strip "all around" (except on the ceiling and to the right under the window), but no end of a glass pane?

Would a shower wall, no tiles, with a pattern on which no lime or water drops are visible, possibly be an alternative? So far, I am imagining a glass shower wall with a "photo" of an underwater world, which, however, does not necessarily have to meet the conditions mentioned in my previous sentence. Maybe there is something of this kind that suits your taste as well.

It would be easy to find out by direct observationIt also depends on the showering habits. I now have a glass enclosure and when my wife showers, the entire floor in front of the entrance is completely wet afterwards. Whether that happens during or after showering - no idea. When I have showered, it's really just a few drops.
