No, it has nothing to do with Stur at all. It is about rude statements. He or she sends a photo into the world and reaps look, what kind of botch-up happens there. That is impossible.
No, it has nothing to do with Stur. Rather with rude statements. He or she sends a photo out into the world and harvests: look what kind of botched work happened there. That is impossible.
Well, but the truth is sometimes unpleasant. It looks good, but it can cause problems. Period.
If he only wants praise, he should post it on Instagram...
As my predecessor says... It doesn't have to cause problems, but the likelihood is significantly higher compared to a 'proper' installation. Maybe not in one year, maybe in 4, maybe not at all.
Above all, he is still in the phase where it could be corrected. Apparently, he doesn't want to, which is also his free decision.
I think it wasn't about receiving praise here, but about getting constructive criticism and not reading a saying that means something like: "Who builds such nonsense!"
Laid on gravel and swept in with sand... Oh man. Gravel and compacted... True professionals
If you had supported this saying with a somewhat more detailed explanation, this dispute probably wouldn't have happened. So now everything is fine again and pictures can continue to be posted...
By the way, we also have a gravel bed with sand in the joints. It was proposed by my landscape gardener and executed by me. So far, there is no problem after about 1 1/2 years. I also had to lift some paving for our patio roof and there was still a clear separation between gravel and sand. Of course, I don't know how it will look in 10-20 years...
First gravel, then compact, then grit and paving, afterwards grouting. What is wrong with that? This is also how it is done in public road construction on sidewalks.
What is wrong is that there are no joints, apparently possible with concrete and not so bad with chipping. The rest with the gravel is all okay, although even sand is no longer used but 1-3 mm broken sand.
