I intended to use a binding, water-permeable jointing material for the terrace as joint material. For this, I inquired at tubag about what they would recommend, and it turned out that they cannot offer me anything for the case of an unbound terrace slab laid on gravel.

What are your experiences with terrace slabs laid on gravel (not paving, i.e. thickness approx. 2-4 cm) in combination with binding jointing material?

Funny: even with us, the newcomers place their small pots in the corners and along the edges in a kind of zigzag pattern on their new terraces. I think we did that too. Hopefully, that will shift at some point.

Haha yes, it was the same for us... Eventually you realize that it is much nicer when the terrace is a bit overgrown later on and the flower beds multiply right next to the terrace
