OG: Swap the shower and toilet? Is that possible?

Badly. The toilet needs a waste pipe... outside is always best. Otherwise, the pipe runs past the sofa.

I now find a master bedroom next to a children's room very, very annoying. Unfortunately, we have it like that.

I would swap: bedroom next to the bathroom.

Kitchen and living room: kitchen island opposite the stairs and open.

I'm missing measurements to judge some things. Garage is crap: it blocks all the light in the house. With this orientation, the house stays dark downstairs.

I really like the ground floor, I wouldn’t change anything. The argument that you have to carry groceries further is really not an issue. You don’t carry huge amounts of groceries into the house several times a day. Besides, there is another door from the dining area to the left according to the plan.

In the dining area, I would only provide a panoramic window, 201cm wide, but plan the 101cm wide window as a door instead. Panoramic windows are always more wow than divided windows.



The kitchen fits wonderfully, as does the dining table. In the example, the table is 90 x 180cm, a larger table would also fit.

I would just move the garage further down the plan, because always staring at a long wall while eating is not so nice. But greenery could provide a solution.

I also really like the upper floor, I would leave it as is. Having the master bedroom next to the child’s room is not ideal, but a corresponding partition wall should solve the problem.

My daughter also has a shower in her 250m2 large house that is only 80cm wide, 120cm long. But there is also another, larger shower.
