Selecting property overwhelms us

€30,000 roughly corresponds to 12sqm of house.
So instead of 180sqm for €500,000, just 168sqm for €470,000, which is more than enough...

How is the allocation decided?
I would have approached it quite differently tactically and chosen the "least popular" plots to increase my chances of getting any plot at all ;-)

Overall, the costs should not exceed 600,000 euros.

If that is the hard cap for the total budget, I think 200k just for the land with the desired area is too much. Calculate backwards: 600 budget minus 500 for the house including additional costs leaves 100 for the land. Now it can only be 400 m² – or else a smaller house.

Well, cash balance or financing plan. What do we want/can we contribute for the overall home project?! The items are land/ house/ ancillary construction costs/ garage/ outdoor facilities/ buffer…

With currently 600k€ TOTAL, 200k€ for the land is unrealistic.
I already see 100k€ as the pain threshold, 400k€ house (max. 160 sqm), 100k€ ancillary construction costs + rest etc.
