I have read that heating the screed up to about 50°C for [Belegreifheizen] also has the positive side effect that the next heating period will mean lower energy costs. Is there any truth to that?

Very interesting thread! I've already learned a lot.

One more question for the expert :
We have a cement screed installed as a floating heated screed, and the heating-up program only starts after nearly 5 weeks due to delays in installing the heating system. So the screed is already somewhat dried on the surface, but presumably still quite moist underneath. Now I would like to accelerate the drying of plaster, brick masonry, and screed a bit and use condensation dryers. Is this safely possible already during the heating operation, or should one better switch on the construction dryers only afterward? And what humidity level should the construction dryers not fall below to prevent surface scaling?
Also, I would set up normal fans on a low setting so that the air circulates from the individual rooms to the construction dryer. Is that okay, or do I absolutely have to use the special fans from the construction dryer rental?
For how long should the construction dryers be used to get the place reasonably dry?

With us approximately 21 days screed with 3x ventilation/day.
Afterwards 1 month heating device floor readiness heating + maintaining 30°C.
Residual moisture at 1,x% < 2% according to tile layer okay.
Cement screed, floating.

Please separate!!!! Heating up has nothing to do with floor readiness heating!!!!

Also here: definitely dryers and not heaters! It is very unfortunate that so many matters are mixed up here.

I'm not an expert though: Have the residual moisture determined by the tiler. Then you can (in addition to shock ventilation) use 1-2 construction dryers. After 14 days at the latest, the collection container will no longer fill up. Then it's good. The tiler has to check the readiness for covering, as he is liable for it.
