@ Oetzi: Many thanks first of all "for the flowers"!
Regarding your questions:
"Heated screed, and the heating program only starts (...) after almost 5 weeks."
Answer:
Basically, every screed dries out to the readiness for covering after about 6 weeks even without additional heating (here: warm water underfloor heating); provided that appropriate ventilation is ensured.
-----------------
"The screed is therefore already somewhat dry on the surface, but presumably still quite moist underneath."
Answer:
"Somewhat dry" is certainly an understatement.
Presumably, but the CM residual moisture measurement will reveal this, the screed would also be dry without heating.
But!
Functional heating to check the components (the heating elements) is indispensable.
---------------------
"Now I want to accelerate the drying (...) a bit and use condensation dryers. Is that safely possible during the functional heating or should the construction dryers be switched on only afterward?"
Answer:
That is possible, but not always sensible. The use of condensation dryers is worth considering in terms of economic efficiency!!! Please do not underestimate the energy costs that "threaten" in the background.
Good ventilation with corresponding humidity in the outside air is usually sufficient, as long as the outside air does not have humidity over 70%.
---------------------------
"And which humidity level should the construction dryers not go below so that edge curling does not occur?"
Answer:
Edge curling of screed edges can also occur during slow drying – and is not a defect but a material-specific property of mineral screeds.
However, a construction dryer should not cause relative humidity < 35%, otherwise the capillaries break off: the screed cannot dry out further!
--------------------------
"Additionally, I would just set up normal fans ..."
Answer:
That is the best solution!! Better several fans with open windows than forced drying.
------------------------
"Alright, or absolutely take the special fans from the construction dryer rental?"
Answer:
Sufficiently sized fans capable of generating noticeable air movement are completely sufficient!
------------
"For how long should one use the construction dryers to get the place reasonably dry?"
Answer:
No concrete statement is possible here because a construction dryer draws moisture not only from the screed but also from the masonry.
