;) ... then about load-bearing walls ... can one say that this here: can virtually be the empty space. Whereas the blue areas circle the current WC drain positions. Or do any walls absolutely have to be in certain places?

Hello kbt09

That’s really quick ;) No, the walls are flexible, even the thick line that goes into the room at the bottom in the middle, that’s more of a "drawing error".

Of course, in the end it takes a few walls to hold everything together, but with more concrete or in case of emergency a steel beam, much is possible ;)

The most critical is certainly the "former" living area, where there is a large window front on the left... But let your creativity run wild

Greetings from Switzerland

I'm already curious to see what Kerstin will pull out of her hat now... Interesting project!

So, could the evening study also be integrated with the guest room? The home office preferably larger for conferences? Is the child already there? And I probably overlooked: is that a modern construction method? Do you also prefer it to the country house style?

The guest room can be well integrated into the evening study. For larger conferences, no space is needed since I have a bigger office 8 minutes away.

There are no children yet, but as everyone knows, you plan for the future ;)

The construction is modern, as shown in a picture of what the building looks like outside and the view from the terrace in the lower corners, roughly...

I find it hard to imagine that someone actually changed their window arrangements and dimensions and thus stands out:
