Renovation obligation in old buildings, please provide an assessment

That is quite possible. We have a house in the neighborhood from 1929 that had its original roof and windows until 2020.

90-year-old roof tiles? All intact? I don’t believe it. Maybe a few originals and the rest a patchwork from various years.

Yes, actually. I know the buyers, almost everything was original except for a very few replacement tiles. I even once asked our roofer how long roofs ideally last; he said they can easily last up to 80 years. Good, old clay tiles last forever unless a storm takes them down.

This mainly concerns neighbors (semi-detached house) and 2 schools opposite :( We would otherwise do the renovations...

Phew.. I don’t know that, of course.... Everything seems very old.... However, everything is dry in the attic, the storms always make me terribly scared :(

That would be our idea too... Unfortunately, I'm totally unsure because of the money.... It's totally uncertain with the bank (inflation)
