Renovation obligation in old buildings, please provide an assessment

You only have to do a few things yourself for one weekend. That's child's play. Based on your posts, I think you're more looking for confirmation to sell the house.

It was very important to my husband and me to really give everyone a chance. We also showed the house to people who clearly did not have the financial means for a house or for whom the house was too big or too small. So many people are excluded from the outset in this area, which I personally find hurtful, even though I have never belonged to a group or circle of interested parties that was excluded. My husband and I allow ourselves the luxury of handling such things differently whenever possible. ;-) I just thought that the people who probably would never get to see such a house otherwise would be happy about it. It was manageable because we had organized it very well.
