Hello everyone!

Unfortunately, we were not optimally advised in our furniture store. We have the Grip handles on the kitchen and of course the rationell drawer dampers were sold to us directly. Now, however, the upper drawers cannot really be opened because you cannot properly pull on the handle that is directly adjacent to the countertop.
Now we want to remove the drawer dampers so that the drawers open better. Only they do not want to come out
Does anyone know how to remove them?

Thanks!

I don't understand, what do the handles of the drawers have to do with the doors

Hello, the problem is not the dampers but the springs that pull the drawer in on the last centimeters and keep it closed. You can try to unhook the spring on one side of the rail. If you do it on both sides, the drawers may not stay closed. Since the GRIP handles are only screwed on from the inside and the front is not drilled through, you could also simply replace the handles.

We will do that now as well - so change the handles. I just think it's annoying that at Ikea no one points out that there can be problems with the handles... oh well...
