That is of course completely legitimate and everyone has to deal with that themselves. It just makes no sense to ask for recommendations if the price of the cheapest brand sets the limit.

I don't really have a hard price limit in mind either, and it definitely doesn't have to be Einhell. I just don't know if I want to stick with Bosch (since I only have one battery from them), because I'm not familiar with their garden segment and therefore can't judge whether they are worth the higher price.
I didn't mean to say that Bosch (or comparable brands) are too expensive for me, but if it gets more expensive, it should offer some other added value besides the brand name. Hence my question about your experiences.
The only price limit might be Stihl, which is already very expensive. I'm like Haydee there, more of an amateur after all. Stihl would be pearls before swine for me.

I can only advise against Einhell garden tools. I took the Einhell grass trimmer and the hedge trimmer to the recycling center just last weekend after one season. I’d rather cut with the hand-operated scissors. As soon as the devices caught more than a few blades of grass, everything jammed. On the other hand, I am very satisfied with the cordless screwdriver.

I also thought long and hard about the topic. In the end, you get 6 opinions from 5 people. Asking around isn’t really helpful. For me personally, it was important that there aren’t just garden tools, but also good tools. As a homeowner, quite a bit accumulates over the years, and 5 different systems are annoying. And that the system is so established that it will likely still be supported in 10-15 years. Not too expensive was of course also a point. I ultimately decided on Makita. They had the lawn mower with batteries and a dual charger (I would avoid a single charger if you have two batteries) for a good €350, and you see the system on every other craftsman.

I am also with Makita. They have almost all devices and I find the price/performance ratio good.

Thank you, I hadn't even considered Makita. I'll take a look at it as well. There are mixed opinions about Einhell, and Bosch doesn't perform that well on average, from what I gather.
