Recommendation sought: battery garden tools (system)

If you want to mow thick stems, I would use something with a (metal) blade. But with a blade, you can't mow around curbstones, fence posts, etc. That only works with a line, but then it's microplastic. If using a line, then preferably a thick one with a good feed system. Cheap brushcutters save on this, and then you have to manually adjust the cut-off line.

And when mowing, definitely wear safety goggles, as quite a lot of stuff flies around.

First of all, I am glad that I still have some devices wired, because especially during longer work sessions I like to use a cable and then have real power without having to hold the battery weight overhead.

Due to the sheer number of available devices, I decided on Makita 18V and am very happy with it. They now focus more on workshop tools, but the garden tools I have are perfectly fine and serve their purpose. One charger, one type of batteries, I don't want to do without that.
